Wow, its been a month since i posted here.
Apparently, a lot of things happened, but the most important one is that i got out of CO xD. Felt damn happy. Thought i could never get out of there, but in the end, Mr Chua just came up to me and said Ms Loh got me out of CO. And that the CO teachers are daoing me. xDD
PS, my knee sprain which happened 2 weeks ago is finally healing. But the swell is still there. Hope i can regain its full use by monday.

Hi Ms Loh,
I'm emailing you regarding the fact that I'm still unable to make my transfer out of my current CCA which is Chinese Orchestra. Last year, I've attempted to make the transfer, but it was unsuccessful as the CCA was still fairly weak then and the fact that they were planing to participate the SYF this year, which did not happen. I was also told that if I'm still unhappy with the CCA's progress to the new year, I'm able to make the jump to another CCA. Instead, i was told that since i have the experience and ability in Chinese instruments, I'm not allowed to leave the CCA. Apparently, by helping the CCA to grow, in which I've done by taking up an instrument whereby no other players know how to play for one year, the exact same thing is preventing me from leaving. The reason for not signing my transfer form was that i was able to pick up the instrument fast and that no one else would be able to do as well as i did. To me, that's just unreasonable. The only possible reason I can see for staying on is performances as there will not be a chance for a go at SYF 2 years later (2011) for my batch.
Last year, i wished to join Basketball for a chance to take part in this year's B' Div competition and continue with my hobby of playing Basketball, but I've lost that chance due to the commitment. This year, i would like to join Canoe Polo, and i have already taken part in the holiday trainings last year and it has captured my interest. Of course, i was about to be ambitious and join both Canoe Polo and Basketball CCAs at the same time, but now, i can't even have the chance to join either of the CCAs.
I wish that there's something that can be done, as I wish that I would be able to pursue my interest via CCA and that I know I will not get such a chance next year due to the increasing importance of me that grows whenever I'm in CO. I hope that some sort of reasoning can come out of this issue as this is clearly unfair to me. If there's a need, i would be able to talk face to face tomorrow on Friday.

Its been too long.
Updates on my life
Pre-Orientation
2 days 1 night. It wouldn't get any worse than what i can expect off of a camp. Seriously. I personally wished that we could go back to 2007, with 4 days 3 nights etc like YMCA and the pre-o then. Well, at least its fairly ok, not say the worst possible, but i can't wait till next year when my level takes over of council. (I'm still too used to calling myself a PSL......)
Orientation
105. Damn that bunch of kids. They are wild, a little spoilt (some of them) and worse than 06101. But still, i had some fun. This year's orientation wasn't as good as the past 3 that i had experienced before. At least i had experience being in the orientation, taking a year 1 class and taking a year 3 class. Heh. I swear, next year's orientation will be better.
Anyways, school started without us. Damn. And somehow, i hate my timetable, but its nicer than the previous years.
Our school is a different school every year.

Well, if any of you guys still don't know, im with Jehon, Xuan Hao, Ming Tu and Tan Kuan in the SAFMC (Singapore Amazing Flying Machine Competition) in cat C. We started today and got all the things we needed for the flying practices, and the plane looks quite nice for something that costs $50.

OBS was not as great as expected, its more or less like the UG camp combined with the Year 2 camp. At least i had some great experiences throughout the whole camp. Well, i won't go into details for the obs though
Day 1
Met the instructor and watchmates
went for kayaking crash course (the triyak is open-deck wtf)
Pitch tents and went to sleep
Day 2
Practiced belaying and set off for a 2km hike
Went one wrong way during navigation.
Got to camp 2 and started to pitch the tent, then suddenly, the rain starts coming in from the sea. The sound was damnit scary cause the rain gets nearer and nearer while we were pitching the tents. Holy.
Rain stopped and then finished pitching before sleeping
Day 3
Set out for rock climbing. Damn my shoe, could not fit into the cracks due to the large front side of the shoe, thus i cant get up.
Set off for hike no.2
Got lost somehow, and kena buay song by instructor
Made a raft which failed
Could not jump into the quarry
All of us buay song while instructor went back to singapore for a flight somewhere
Changed instructor
Ate badly cooked rice with rocks in the dinner (crunchy......)
Went to sleep
Day 4
Woke up at 1am due to rain.
Never felt worse in my life due to the cold
Went back to sleep in the cold
Woke up again at 430 and changed into wet attire
Went to kayaking expedition (starboard marker)
Went through the swamps and stuff
Cut of a chunk of my thumb due to a fall
Went against the current and the wind
Got back to shore and went for Jetty jump (its like diving into the ocean)
You just got to love the ocean
Day 5
Woke up, packed and bought the tees and went back home. Don't think ill miss OBS anytime soon.
Well, after the camp, i expected camp pinnacle. When me and bern went to the camp site, the officers and mdm told us that mr tham did not register us into the camp, so after lots of drama from bern's father and the clts, we came back on the first day. Miss the C-130 flight and powerboat ride. Damn sad for these 2, but happy that i get to go Sailing level 1 course! xD
Sailing is totally different from kayaking. But i prefer kayaking. I intend to take up wind surfing in the future i guess. Still have not taken the test which was postponed to tomorrow due to bad weather. Hope i can pass and bring the cert back to suan Jehon tomorrow during CP xDDDD
